Starting 20 January 2020 the Wikimedia Movement strategic recommendations are open for comment for 5 weeks.

Following this comment period, recommendations and the comments will go to the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees for decisions on next steps. The next phase of the strategic process will be drafting implementations which will put the recommendations into action.

In early 2019 WREN met multiple times to develop submissions to the strategic planning process. Notes from those past meetings and the groups recommendations are at

Right now, in this comment period, WREN should check these summary recommendations to ensure that they appropriately include the recommendations which WREN previously made. With additional time or interest for discussion, the group or its members can make comments on anything else.
