MacPortrait's logo

From October 15 to November 15 we organised a photo contest named "MacPortrait Photo Contest". Because there was a huge lack in the articles that were missing any kind of image of many famous and notable Macedonian people, the goal of this engagement was to gather photographs of these distinguished people, taken from near distance, so they can be afterwards used in documentary and informative character. These images later could be uploaded on Wikimedia Commons under free licence. Five people have contested and they covered in total 328 people and 593 images. Out of these total results, 283 people did not have any image of them and 502 images got uploaded specially for these characters. The other numbers were the 91 images that already have an image of some people (45 of them) on Commons.
