Where / How / When edit

WikiGap is a campaign to reduce the gender gap in Wikimedia projects promoted by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There are several edits in various cities around the world organized by local wikipedian groups in collaboration with the Swedish embassies in their respective countries.

WikiGap Naija will be held on the 8th of March 2018 by Wikimedia UG Nigeria in partnership with Swedish Embassy in Abuja. The one-day event is planned to gather Wikipedian enthusiasts and gender focused organisations to contribute their quota towards correcting systemic bias and bridging gender inequalities on Wikipedia through creation of new articles and improving on existing articles about Nigerian women.
