Wikimedia New England/Election

Wikimedia New England will hold its Fall 2013 Election to select its Wikimedia Usergroup Committee over a 2-week period, from October 21 - November 4 (the first week being the call for candidates, and the second week being the actual election).
Seven seats will be filled, to be selected by the members registered as of October 15 by approval voting, with each member given 4 votes to cast for their most favored candidates. Candidates do not have to themselves be previous members, though that will be the electoral group choosing them.
The usergroup committee, once elected and working with the Affiliations Committee, will then have the authority to choose their officers (President, Vice President, Clerk, Treasurer) from among its own, or from among other such qualified Wikimedia New England persons.
