Chapter's Objectives

1. Promotion of knowledge and education through the collection, creation and distribution of free content.
2. Improving the equal opportunity in access to free knowledge and providing accessibility of such knowledge to the Israeli society.
3. Promotion of computer systems which are used for collection and distribution of free content in collaborative work, in particular those which are used in the Wikimedia projects.
4. Promotion of research of social, cultural and applicable questions with regards to free content.
5. Promotion and initiation of volunteering work for the aforementioned objectives.

Planning Rational

The chapter will focus on projects whose cost-effectiveness ratio proved high for other chapters, and on the enhancement of successful projects.

2. Cooperation with higher education institutions (Including but not limited to deploying the ambassadors program)
3. Releasing existing content under a free license
4. Creation of new free content
5. Strengthening the connections between the chapter and the Hebrew editors community, the chapter and other chapters, and building a solid infrastructure for the chapter.
