Wikimedia Ghana User Group/Languages

This year the Wikimedia Ghana User Group wants to help promote the local language Wikipedia including Akan Wikipedia and Ewe Wikipedia: ak.wikipedia.org and ee.wikipedia.org respectively.

Activities

• Register for the 16 African Women Translate-a-thon and help translate articles into Akan and Ewe (Done)
• Request for Akan to be added on tracking page 16 African Women Translate-a-thon/tracking (Done)
• Talk on radio on International Mother Language Day (21 February)about Akan & Ewe Wikipedias (Done)

Pending activities

• Request for Ewe to be added on tracking page 16 African Women Translate-a-thon/tracking. It has been wrongly linked to Estonian Wikipedia
• Hold an event in March or April
