Community Programs
We are a team of cultural professionals, educators, and community organizers dedicated to building a bigger, multi-generational movement by engaging allies in the broader knowledge ecosystem such as librarians, teachers, archivists, museum workers, academics, journalists, publishers, NGOs, and knowledge equity activists. We strive to realize Wikimedia's 2030 aspiration that “anyone who shares our vision will be able to join us.”

How we work
editThrough practical assistance, capacity building, facilitation, and co-creation, we support Wikimedia organizers, grantees, partners, and communities of practice working on movement-prioritized themes like Culture and Heritage, Education, and closing the Gender Gap. We help scope and advise partnerships, develop communications and advocacy campaigns, and collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams on tools, workflows, and research that supports organizers and partners.
