2024-07-01: Fill in the missing images on Wikipedia!

From July 1 to August 31, you can participate in the Wikimedia Pages Wanting Photos challenge. The goal of the Wikimedia Pages Wanting Photo challenge is to increase the use of already uploaded images on the Wikimedia Commons repository and to add images to articles that lack a suitable illustration image.

This year, for the second time, you can also participate in the Czech round of the international challenge and add missing images to articles on the Czech Wikipedia. Please see the Wikimedia Pages Wanting Photos competition page for the rules of the challenge as well as lists of articles without images.

2024-07-14: The competition for the best photos on the Czech Wikipedia Czech Wiki Photo 2024 begins

This year marks the sixth year of the Czech Wiki Photo photo contest for the best photos. The competition is in three categories: Nature; Society, culture and events; and Human Made. We have prepared great prizes for the winners this year as well. Photos can be uploaded to the competition until October 31, 2024. The best photos will then be exhibited at an opening in early 2025.
