Activities

18 February: Initial introduction to Wikimedia projects for the students of Zavarian school in Athens, in anticipation of a project where students will write articles about Armenian culture in Greek Wikipedia by Nikos Likomitros.
10 - 12 April: Participation in annual technology conference Devoxx Greece 2025. Wikimedia Community User Group Greece was a supporter of the event.
6 - 7 May: Gold sponsor of the "First Computer Science conference by students for students organized by the Department of Computer Science of the Ionian University"
9 May: Ionian Wikithon 2025
12 May: Artificial intelligence and digital literacy, presentation at Pythagorean Lyceum Samos by Marios Magioladitis
April-June: 15 students of two postgraduate programs on English-Greek translation at Athens University took their annual translation practice on translating Wikipedia articles. Organised by Nikos Likomitros.

Additionally, Wikimedia Community User Group Greece is organising the Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2025, supported by the CEE Hub. The conference is going to take place in 26-28 September 2025.
