Culture week at Saint Laurent Library
editFrom 03 to 04 February 2016, Saint Laurent church of Yopougon Kouté in Abidjan hosted a culture week, a set of conferences and discussions organized by its Library. Wikimédia Community User Group of Côte d’Ivoire (WCUG-CI) attended some of activities carried out during that culture week.
The presence of the Association during this event gave birth to a strong collaboration between the Library of Saint Laurent Church and Wikimedia Côte d’Ivoire. Aside from this partnership other remarkable bonds have been tied with notorious individuals of the Ivorian culture who attended this event. Among them, were Fidèle Boussou – General Manager of l’Harmattan Côte d’ivoire, a publishing house – Ewouédjé and Ouattara Vouha Sadia (writers), and the spokesman for the Chief of Kouté village.
