Take the chance to realize your project, to purchase a book to help you write an article, to expense an entrance ticket to a museum to upload photographs on Wikimedia Commons. The sky is the limit, as long as your project has an impact on Wikimedia projects and that you are a recurrent contributor, you are eligible. Get in touch with your community liaison in case you have a question or want to talk about your idea.
You can submit your micro-grant request in your respective language on the Micro-Grant on Meta.

The most recent activity financed with a micro-grant was the meet up of contributors of the Alemannic Wikipedia on October, 24. A week ago, this middle-sized language edition reached 20.000 articles! Five Wikipedians and one companion met in Einsiedeln (canton of Schwyz) to take a guided tour of the local museum. The exhibition there was dedicated to the 150th birthday of Meinrad Lienert, a writer from Einsiedeln who has published novels, poems or songs both in standard German and in his Swiss German dialect. In the afternoon the group also visited the Einsiedeln Abbey and the cozy gingerbread museum, before tasting the local wine in a restaurant.

  • Let's fill the gender gap atelier in Geneva
