I began to film short documentaries about destinations in Switzerland, so that potential tourists may receive additional information about a place, its location, adjacent infrastructure. For example:

I would like to continue to create such documentaries, in which a destination, a historical building, etc. is shown from the ground and from the air, and also a spoken text provides an additional information, - how to get there, what equipment is necessary (if it is in mountains), etc.

It turned out that creating a documentary is more complicated than I previously thought, and it requires the special training. I subscribed for the training course General/Basic at the Fly & Film SA at Sierrre, Canton of Valais http://www.fly-and-film.pro/inscriptions on 21 - 25.11.2016. At the end of this course there will be a theoretical and a practical exam. Those who pass the exams will receive a certificate which is recognized by FOCA, Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation. The price od the course is 1404 CHF, which I already paid. The 500 CHF grant (certainly on the condition that I succeed the exams and receive the certificate) would reduce the cost of this training for me significantly. I would be glad to participate in any future Wikimedia CH filming projects.
