Planned activity: The Public Domain project is in the creation process of a physical- and digital collection of reference books.
For the rights investigation of music authors in the german language area we need a complete and updated edition of the MGG (Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart).
I want hereby apply CHF 500 proportionately for a 2nd hand MGG (2nd edition, 2008) in a very good condition which I bought from a musicologist in August 2015 for CHF 622 (new price: EUR 5900). The set includes 27 volumes of the 29 volume edition (17 books with biographies and 10 books with musical instruments and scientific articles; a register and a supplementary volume is missing).

It's impossible to publish an exact number of uploads, because of the time-spending work of the rights clearing. Every additional reference book help us to donate more "public domain" audio files to Wikimedia Commons.
