Wikimedia CH/Community Survey 2015
Community Survey Edition 2015
editWikimedia CH has launched its first community survey in June 2015 in order to better understand the wishes, needs and concerns of our members and of the communities we want to serve and facilitate in Switzerland.
The inputs we get from this survey will help us to improve our services and our work as an association as well as to shape our future plans and strategy.
The survey was being hosted on Qualtrics.com with a login we got from the Wikimedia Foundation. The survey was online from June 18 until July 1st and available in four languages (de, fr, it, en). We communicated the survey-link on the central notice banners in Wikipedia (registered users on de, fr, it & en) & on Wikimedia Commons in Switzerland, as well as via eMail to our members. Besides english, the survey is available in french, italian and german language. Please contact us in case you're interested to get the translations.

I would recommend a friend to become a member of Wikimedia CH
edit(1 = not at all, 10 = fully)
With this question we gauged the loyalty of our associations members. Therefore we asked the participants to attribute a value between 1 (not at all) and 10 (fully) to the following statement “I would recommend a friend to become a member of Wikimedia CH”. Based on this question, we were able to generate the Net Promoter Score.
Long story short: 42 people responed with a score of 9 or 10 (equals 50% of all people who have answered this question). These members of our association can be considered as promoters and loyal enthusiasts. In contrast, we had 21 people who responded with a score of 0 to 6. These 24% are considered as unhappy members. The Net Promoter Score is calculated by subtracting the percentage of customers who are Detractors from the percentage of customers who are Promoters, e.g.: 50% minus 24% equals a NPS of 26. To put this result in perspective: According to Wikipedia, an NPS that is positive (i.e., higher than zero) is felt to be good, and an NPS of +50 would be excellent. In the longterm, it is our target to sustainably improve our NPS value over the upcmoing years by aligning our activities and services according to the needs of our communities.
