B = maximal number of created and significantly edited articles about a country

Methods to achieve the aims

The creation of excellent and good articles can be supported by creating such rules that stimulate the creation of such. If only the number of bytes count, then participants naturally choose many easy to be written short to average length articles.
At least one article per active editor
- can be supported by not organising concurrent article contests for the participating communities.
- can be supported by defining lists of articles by communities to be created or edited by other communities (see list about Poland from last year).
- can be supported by creating lists of articles by single users to be created or edited in other languages, e.g. Wikimedia CEE Spring 2016/Visem (Ukraine).
Rather equal distribution of newly created and significantly edited articles about every country in every language can be supported by organising thematic weeks. Selective statistical analysis has shown that this worked in 2015.
Sub-challenges, e.g. articles on music or theatre or culture or museums of all countries in the region.
5% of the participants in all countries are new users can be supported by having a special prize for the best new editor (new editors would have to reveal their identity to the organisers, in order to minimise the chance of old users winning with a new account).
Higher number of newly created and significantly edited articles about women than about men can be reached by popularising such topics via the social media, the international blog and, if local coordinators like it, via the national blogs.
