Abstract: The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the advantages of introducing drone photography into Macedonian Wikiexpeditions and how it improved team productivity, added a distinctive perspective, increased mobility and safety, and ultimately reduced costs.			Slides:

How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE? The presentation will highlight the advantages and opportunities of incorporating drone photography in Wiki (expeditions) projects. It will emphasize the value of using drones for data collection, monitoring and mapping remote terrain, objects of interest and capturing breathtaking visual content for scientific and educational purposes for Wikipedia community. Attendees of the conference will be presented with the potential of this technology and it will express interest in adopting it for their future projects.
