Participants coming from countries other than neighboring countries (Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Greece, Montnegro) will land at the Skopje International Airport in Skopje or at Sv. Apostol Pavle Airport in Ohrid. Every passenger will be provided with an organized transportation by shuttle bus from the airport to the Belvi Hotel in Ohrid. Shuttles will be organized in several time periods when passengers will arrive. Self-funded participants can use those shuttles also. The timing of shuttles will be announced after the airline tickets will be purchased.
When you arrive, you have to register and check in, go through passport control and wait for your luggage. After check-in, passport control and baggage collection, you can sit and relax in the coffee bars and restaurants within the airport. At the airport, you also have a currency exchange office open 24/7.
In the Arrival Zone located in the terminal building of the Airport "Sv. Apostol Pavle" Ohrid, travelers can do shopping at the store before they pass through the Passport Control. More info about the airport in Ohrid: in English
Transport to & from the city:
If someone is coming in the time other than the timing of the shuttles, the best option is to take a bus from the airport that costs 3 euros, in order to get from the airport to the center of Skopje. From the city center of Skopje to Ohrid, the price for a bus is 15 euros. You can get from the airport to the hotel in Ohrid by taxi service, which is available in the parking lot of the airport in Ohrid.
