Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2022/Programme/Submissions/Developments with the Wiki Science Competition
Estonian Science Photo Competition was first held on Wikipedia in 2011. It has acted as an inspiration for European Science Photo Competition first held in 2015 and Wiki Science Competition first held in 2017. Now the Wiki Science Competition (WSC), which has grown among the biggest images competitions in Wikimedia, is also extending its reach into article competitions.

This is the story of WSC. Its growth and teachings, but also on the ways how CEE countries could cooperate with the institutions of higher education and with themselves.
- How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe?
- CEE region has been one of the most active WSC participants and this is a way to learn about the history of that cooperation and also how to organize an image competition.
