Beginning in January 2019, the Belgrade City Library hosts weekly workshops for article writing on Wikipedia. The workshops are intended primarily for seniors, as people with much knowledge and experience, who also have a lot of free time that they can devote to sharing free knowledge. Workshops are also welcomed by anyone else who wants to devote their time to working on Wikipedia.
- How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe?
Many people face excess leisure time when retiring. Many of them have good computer skills. Writing articles on Wikipedia can help these people stay active in their profession, and Wikipedia will be enriched with quality content
