Summary

Poland as a host country of this CEE Meeting is also a country where first Wikiexpedition started in 2009. CEE Region is also one of the most active regions in the world where this kind of projects are successful and have four very active countries involved in organizing Wikiexpeditions (Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Macedonia).

These countries organize several expeditions per year and with much more experience can help others to organize their first expeditions, to shared how/when and to answer many other questions. Also, I believe that all existing active organizers have different approaches in organizing expeditions, so this open discussion will bring information to everybody.

Expected outcomes

Additionally, it will provide chance for organizing more regional expeditions between the countries, visiting on example shared regions, historically divided regions or cross-border regions. Also, will provide sufficient information for other countries to organize their first expedition.
