I would like to present successful Czech project – Mediagrant. This project operates for six years and during this period we have obtained over 55 000 photos. Main goal of this project is to enrich Wikimedia Commons with multimedia content related to the Czech Republic. Achievement of this project I will demonstrate on the main part of Mediagrant – long-term topic called Photographing of Czech Municipalities.

Expected outcomes

Inform about successful project and, maybe, attract other countries to try it.

Duration (without Q&A)
20 minutes
Specific requirements

None (except for a projector of course), but flipchart could be helpful for Q&A.

  2. Do you have any advice on how to run such a project for countries without FoP?--Strainu (talk) 09:54, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think there will be a big problem with FoP and no-FoP. In our Mediagrant we usually photograph villages, castles, ruins... For example, do you think there could be a problem with this photo in a country with no-FoP? --Packa (talk) 23:17, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
