On January 15, 2017, we have celebrated the 16th anniversary of Wikipedia not only at the WMAM office but also in Stepanakert Wikiclub. It has become a good tradition for all active Armenian Wikipedians to get together on the same day. This celebration is also a great opportunity for Wikimedia Armenia to summarize all organized contests and award the winners. On this day we also presented a report on the achievements of the year and talked about the future plans.
In order to attract new volunteer speakers for the Spoken Wikipedia project, Wikimedia Armenia announced a call for the speakers via its social platforms. After careful selection we have chosen candidates with the best declamation voice, who later recorded 51 articles synopsizes.

[[File:|thumb|Saturday Workshop, January, 2017]] Every Saturday Wikimedia Armenia organizes open workshops edit-a-thons at the WM AM office where new editors are taught how to edit different wiki projects and the experienced editors participate in edit-a-thons dedicated to different themes.
