The Wikimedia-Libraries International Convention 2025 scholarships program is offering a limited number of scholarships to cover the cost of selected individuals' travel, meals,conference registration fee and accommodation among others.

Criterio de Becas

Applications will be graded on:

Involvement with the open or Wikimedia movement in relation to libraries or heritage (cultural or scientific)?
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of theme: Disinformation as a threat ;
Bringing new perspectives, experiences, or intention to help diversify knowledge and other gaps within the field
Bringing substantial skills that contribute to the larger Wikimedia+Libraries International Convention 2025
Ability to contribute significantly to transformational change in the community or in larger debates on the future of libraries and/or GLAM Wiki collaboration

IMPORTANTE: Any scholarship applicant has to be in good standing with the Friendly Space Policy and the Universal Code of Conduct.

Applicants will be screened for any violations to the UCoC or other global bans that might prevent them from participating in any Wikimedia event.
