Wikimania 2024, the 19th Wikimedia conference, is planned to happen in Katowice, Poland, as an in-person and online event on 7–10 August 2024. It will happen in Wikimania's 20th year.

Transition

The 2024 Core Organizing Team will have the privilege to shadow and learn from the host of the 18th edition, ESEAP between April 2023 till the Wikimania 2023 concludes. The official host handover will happen on the last day of Wikimania on 19 August 2023. Technical transition such as site page management and event document handover will proceed thereafter.
