Wikimania 2005 OSI report
This report should address the following points:
- Defining better what it means for countries, languages, and viewpoints to be underrepresented in Wikipedia/other WM projects
- Collating feedback from attendees with travel scholarships via OSI, and a few other very active attendees whose regions and languages fall under this notion (however it is defined)
- Reviews of each session by someone in attendance from the viewpoint of applications to local language/geographic issues
- Initiatives begun and pursued by these attendees (the outsider's Hacking Days experience, machines hosted in distant lands, ...)
- Ways to use future Wikimedia conferences to continue expanding breadth and depth of POV, geographic, and linguistic coverage. (Helping this year's scholarship recipients find their own support in future years if they wish, &c.)
