The Wikimania Conference will take place in the Haus der Jugend.
It is located in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen close to the centre of Frankfurt, on the banks of the river Main with a view of the skyscrapers and the old city.
Sights close by: the major museums on the banks of the river Main, the town hall Römer, St. Paul's Church, the cathedral, the "Goethe's House". And the romantic apple-wine district "Old-Sachsenhausen" (with many nice pubs) starts next door.
Getting to the Haus der Jugend
The Haus der Jugend is reachable with public transport from the central train station within 30 minutes. From the aiport one must first travel to the central train station, another 15 minute trip. More thorough directions are available on Wikimania 2005:Transport.
