- Iconic, but not my choice for a logo 207.157.239.252 16:49, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Easily recognisable, similiar to the Wikimedia Logo, but it does not work too well as a 16px icon for linking in Wikipedia. --Matthias 20:32, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I prefer d, r3, r5, r22, r24. The idea is good, but these are not my favorite logos. --Pietrodn · talk with me 13:06, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- We need to pick a winner from this group soon. I like d and r24, although I can understand if the grayscale doesn't appeal to most users. --Whiteknight (meta) (Books) 16:36, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- d is fine by me. Greyscale not so much. I'd also like to see a better favicon for this proposal. – Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 20:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- Nice, but I dont't like most of the color-combinations. What do you mean about something like this color-combination? -- Michi 88.217.21.136 12:17, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- d, r3, r5, r6 are all the best. Didn't this logo "win" last time though? Wonderfool 22:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- I prefer (d). r24 can become the b/w alternative. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dwallen11 (talk • contribs) .
- I created a new revision, r22.2. Hope you all like it! It's a little softer than it's counterpart.—Tkgd2007 00:57, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- I prefer r5 and r20. These really are eye catchers. -OnkelDagobert 12:35, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- I rather like r24. Very metallic. Nice shading...208.108.145.30 14:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't like the brown colouring of the d proposal since it looks a little bit boring and misplaced. I prefer r17 due to it's warm colours which would match with the more blueish website design. 217.80.195.2 18:17, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- r21 and r22 stand out to me as extra nice. Emesee 05:56, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- r24 is the best i have seen in all the wikibooks and complements greatly with the current logo for wikipedia and also with wikibooks famous slogan on the bottom. --anonymous 20:48, 9 June 2008
- Oppose all - It doesn't look like a "wiki book" to me. It's not friendly, welcoming, or approachable. That being said, (d) is the best implementation of the logo, though I dislike the colors immensely. I might be able to get behind a version of the logo that uses the color scheme of the Wikimedia foundation (blue, green, red as shown in the Meta-Wiki logo to the left). --Willscrlt 23:34, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- All r variants are very bad. They are more like Chigs from w:Space: Above and Beyond or Princess Leia as Ubese bounty hunter Boushh or Boba/Jango Fett or Power Rangers or other man/men in mask(s). Alex Spade 21:57, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose all - Quote Willscrlt. -- RaminusFalcon «…» («it.wikipedia») 07:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose all - I'm afraid I find all of these unfriendly and kind of old-fashioned. --Mcld 11:15, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- oppose for all version but the iconic principle is rather interrrsiting. Perhpas with a mutlibook concept? --Gdgourou 10:47, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose all - I'll second Gdgourou, making it transmit the idea of several books would be a plus. --Panic 23:46, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- r5a combines d and r5. Note: 1. detail is added, 2. Wikimedia-blue is used. Opinions? --OnkelDagobert 17:47, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Choosing a finalist
editSupport Any version will do, as this is the only language-neutral logo. Urhixidur 14:17, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Version d as Proposal B finalist
- Don't care for any of Proposal B, but (d) and (r21) are the best looking of the bunch when paired with other Wikimedia Foundation logos (see below). --Willscrlt (Talk) 01:34, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- I like it because it is like the logo of wikimedia. --Admiral 08:01, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Support — the other options for this proposal seem very bland and unappealing. This one stands out amongst its competitors (within this proposal), but also fits well with the other wiki-projects.
