Wiki for Human Rights New Mexico
Wiki for Human Rights New Mexico is a 2-day workshop that will bring together about 25 undergraduate students, introduce them to Wikipedia and the #Wikiforhumanrights campaign. With the New Mexico State of the US fraught with various environmental problems including climate challenges that affect water resources among several others, this event will serve as an opportunity to introduce the Wikimedia movement to students and activists to discuss and share ideas on how they can employ Wikipedia to address environmental challenges confronting the state while documenting fact-based content on these issues. New Mexico has no Wikipedia presence and this serves as an opportunity to get in the students in the area involved.
