The creation of the Wiki Women Task Force will operate under a model that allows for an organic growth curve driven by community participation. The Task Force will act as a rallying force and steering committee, providing support and resources to facilitate this growth.
- Declaration Refinement: Collaboratively refine the Wiki Women* Camp Declaration to articulate clear goals and objectives.
- Global Consultations: Conduct consultations with global communities to gather input on priorities and initiatives.
- Nomination Process: Develop an open and transparent process for communities to nominate representatives for the steering committee.
- Steering Committee Formation: Set-up the steering committee based on diversity, expertise, and commitment to gender equity.
- Community Adoption: Seek community endorsement and adoption of the Wiki Women* Task Force's declaration.
- July 31st: Launch the nomination process for the steering committee.

- August 2024 Discussions during Wiki Women* Summit, declaration review and public announcement.
- September 2024 Announcing the Wiki Women* Task Force
- October 2024 (25-30) Review and setting of Task Force Nomination Timelines.
- November 2024 (1-10): Review of nominees and selection criteria/matrix finalization
- November 2024 (11-20): Nominees Evaluation
- November 2024 (21-30): Reopening of nominations to fulfill regional representation and DEI
- December 2024 (1-15): Nominations window
- January 2025 : Wiki Women Advisory Council review of submitted nominations using shared scoring matrix .
- March 2025: WikiWomen* Advisory Council wrap up and Official announcement of inaugural task force members
- April 2025: WikiWomen* Task Force begins its mandate
