Project scope edit

The project will provide the 1.3 million daily commuters of Metro Manila's Light Rail Transit System a doze of featured Wikipedia articles in snippets. These placards of snippets of featured Wikipedia articles will be conspicuously placed in the trains' hand straps installed to display commercial advertisements. Each of these handles will have a unique article or image to give the riding public a different read every time they ride the trains.

WMPH shall enter into an agreement with the advertising agency which has the rights to these ad spaces, to utilize these ad spots whenever there are no commercial advertisements displayed. Depending on the arrangement WMPH shall work if it could get the ad slots for free or at a very minimal cost. This shall make the 5–30 minute train ride a more informative ride as the commuters can actually read snippets of the best Wikipedia articles ever written or the get to see the best Wikimedia Commons images ever shot or created. This project shall raise awareness of Wikipedia in a country where internet penetration is low (29.7 percent) and shall literally give meaning to "information at your fingertips."
