Wiki Loves Living Heritage Bazaar Europe edit

Wiki Loves Living Heritage wishes to invite you to the European edition of Wiki Loves Living Heritage Bazaar!

The event is a meeting between the European Heritage Days Network, European Network of Focal Points for the UNESCO 2003 Convention (ENFP) and the European GLAM-wiki coordinators to share ideas and best practices about working with living heritage projects.

We plan to arrange similar events in other parts of the world to bring the parties together.

Program edit

The first part consists of showcases of ideas or ongoing activities for working with living heritage. There are 4–8 slots for speakers to present in 5 minutes. We kindly encourage you to contribute by sharing your valuable experiences!

  • Doug Rocks-Macqueen: Wiki Loves EHD
  • Gorana Gomirac: How is Wikimedia Serbia nourishing living heritage
  • Oleksandr Butsenko: ICH in Ukraine 2023: documentation, assessment
  • Leena Marsio: European and Finnish photo contests
  • Susanna Ånäs: Living heritage data

The second part takes place in breakout rooms, where you can pop in to discuss a specific topic. We will create rooms for Safeguarding living heritage in times of crisis and Diaspora culture and other popular topics that the participants have proposed. We can change topics according to the number of participants and interest.

The insights will be documented and made available on the Wiki Loves Living Heritage website, ensuring that everyone can access and benefit from them.
