Wiki Loves Africa 2020 in Sudan
About the campaign edit
Wiki Loves Africa 2020 is being orgnized foe the six round this year and we are happy to announced that for the first Time in Sudan Wikimedia Community with the support of the Swedish Embassy in Khartoum. the Contest is under the theme Transportation Africa on the Move. For Sudan we did online and Offline activities which included:
- Two basic training for photographer
- Lancing events in two location in Sudan,khartoum State and andSouth Darfur State( Nyala city).
- Team Meetings with Sponsors and supporters
- Photo Walk in Nyla Market
The timeframe of which is 15 February until end of 15th April 2020 under the theme “Transportation”. Wiki loves Africa focuses on sharing and accessibility of visual content i.e. photos. The content on Wikipedia is greatly enhanced if photos can be included wherefore the activity is linked to the WikiGap 2020.
Then Due to COVID-19 situation the contest was extended to 15th April 2020.
