- In a Geographical Eye - A joint project of the Ministry of Education and ISOC
- The Pikiwiki project, a joint collaboration of the Israeli Internet Association, Wikimedia Israel and the Center for Educational Technology is a free data base for sharing image in digital format, which is stored on the Wikimedia Commons Project database. The projects aim is to collect historical, geographical and social images relating to the State of Israel and the Land of Israel. The images are contributed by the general public, archives and museums, and are uploaded to the site by the contributors. The database is available for the public for use without cost and without any copyright limitation. The project enable usage of the images in the educational system, and is a base for various educational projects. One such project is the "Israel in a geographical eye" project (http://www.pikiwiki.org.il/index.php?action=content&id=31): in this project high school students competed amongst themselves in taking and uploading images which show the interaction and interrelationship between men and the environment, as seen through the camera.
