WikiRx

Description

Basically, WikiRX would be a wiki for information on medicines. It could include brand name, generic name, etc. It would work best with a project such as Wikidata, but it could probably work as a standalone wiki.

Target Audience

• Patients
• Doctors
• Pharmacists

Benefits

• Users could get detailed information on their medicines.
• Doctors could have access to (theoretically) every medicine in existence.

Obstacles

• Obviously, this idea would work better with a database addition to the MediaWiki software (see Wikidata).
• As always with something like this, you run the risk that someone with malicious intent will use it for illegal purposes.
