African World Heritage Day

On African World Heritage Day (May 5th) help improve knowledge about African World Heritage Sites on Wikipedia in all languages.


Create new articles


  1. Click this link to see which articles exist in which languages.
  2. Create a missing article in your language Wikipedia.
  3. Go back to the link, click on the Wikidata number for the site you created an article (the left hand column) for e.g Q5832
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Wikidata page and add your new article to the Wikipedia links and click save.
  5. Your new article will now be linked to the Wikidata item and appear on the tool.
  6. If you would like other languages added to the tool please message User:John Cummings or tweet @mrjohnc
