General information and rules

edit

Interested participants can apply for a scholarship by filling in the application form. Participants are expected to come from the communities of Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (CEECA), and they will be selected by the organisers and awarded scholarships based on the input provided in the application. Given that the event can accommodate a limited number of participants, a total of 24 applicants will be selected (20 scholars and 4 self-funded participants). All interested participants (scholars and self-funded participants) have to fill in the application form.

Scholars will have the expenses for travel, accommodation, insurance, local transport and meals during the event covered by the organisers. Self-funded participants will have to cover the expenses for travel, accommodation and insurance on their own, whereas the other expenses will be covered by the organisers.

Participants during the event will be divided into teams, and each team will consist of people having different roles. Therefore, it is necessary to select the role you would like to apply for. The roles are the following:

  • Drivers: participants responsible for driving the teams (driving licence is required).
  • Researchers: participants responsible for researching the target area.
  • Photographers: participants responsible for taking pictures during the expeditions.
  • Drone operators: participants responsible for operating a drone to take aerial pictures and film videos during the expeditions.

Note: One application can be submitted only for one role. If you are interested to apply for more than one role, you should submit multiple applications with the different roles indicated.
