In order to promote Wikipedia and its sister projects, as well as to extend wikimedia activities in Congo-Kinshasa and Central Africa in our own languages, a meeting was held between Mikanda network, Kinshasa Wikipedia Contributors, Publishers, Booksellers, Authors and Librarians to establish partnerships and see how we can move forward with the online referencing of resources and documentation related to the history of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central Africa, given the lack of research sources.
