Francais : Nul n’ignore que la mission de Wikipédia est de mettre à la porter de tout le monde, l'ensemble du savoir humain. Mais, hélas, bon nombre de nos citoyen-e-s (africains en particulier) ne peuvent accéder à ce savoir dû au manque d'Internet dont l'accès est limité à une poignée des gens. Afin de contourner cette difficulté, Kiwix, un logiciel libre et open source vient au secours. Raison pour laquelle sur cet atelier, nous voulons sensibiliser les participants sur l'utilisation de cet outil pour un accès hors ligne aux contenus éducatifs tel que Wikipédia. Anglais: It is well known that Wikipedia's mission is to make all human knowledge available to everyone. But, unfortunately, many of our citizens (Africans in particular) cannot access this knowledge due to the lack of Internet access which is limited to a handful of people. In order to overcome this difficulty, Kiwix, a free and open source software comes to the rescue. For this reason, in this workshop, we want to sensitize the participants on the use of this tool for offline access to educational content such as Wikipedia. |
