Sessions Attended

At first the Airmeet platform was a bit diffcult to navigate through but I later got the hang of it. I watched most sessions on YouTube and attended the following sessions

• African Wikimedians Volunteer Support Network
• Wikimedia activities and the sustainable development goals
• Wiki Loves Women Focus Group Panel discussion
• Making Wikipedia Accessible to all

Networks made

I was able to learn more about communities and User groups. I also learnt about some individuals in my community who have similar interest as mine for example Gbemisola Esho, Tochi Precious and many others.

Outcome

The African Wikimedians Volunteer Support Network session was particularly an interesting one and addressed a lot of things I had previously been curious about. The WIki Indaba event has helped me understand and now know what projects to engage in as regards improvement on the gender gap which I am largely interested in. Usergroups like the Wiki Loves Women Group and the results they have produced so far has largely inspired me. This event also made me curious about African content on all Wikimedia projects. Presently, I discovered some projects i am interested in contributing to and actively making plans on how to get involved.
