Abstract (up to 300 words to describe your proposal)

Cameroon has more than 200 local languages and currently none of them appear in any of Wikimedia movement projects. Currently, in collaboration with local associations and members of the User Group (linguists, translators) we are engaged in the promotion of some languages. This will involve using the Lingua Libre platform and the Wiktionary to promote from audio files Ghomala, ewondo, bulu,... languages.

What will attendees take away from this session?

This session will present the beginning of this project, discover the Lingua Libre platform as well as the perspectives of the team working on this project and especially share this experience with other countries that would like to promote local languages.
