Participant Connections edit

As an African from the diaspora, It was a great pleasure to meet people from Wikimedia African communities and see their involvement in Wikimedia projects despite issues ( internet connexion, power cut etc..) we're facing in Africa.

I met with people from Cameroon User group, Tanzania, Ghana, Tchad, Mali, Nigeria and so many others among them

Derick whith who I talk about developers projets. I really apprediate the AWMD project to have involved developpers from Africa.

As we're planning to set up a user group in Bénin, my home country, WikiIndaba was the perfect moment to connect in real with people as :

Outcome edit

As a first time participant to WikiIndaba, it was a big opportunity to connect to others wikimedians and to learn from them.

I learnt more about the process of setting up a user group: requirements, the Do and Don't etc ...
I learnt more about wiktionary and start contributing by writing my first article
