Abstract:
Wiki Loves Rural Works project is to increase the amount of freely licensed material related to rural works. This is essential as we to document, preserve, and share: NGOs, institutions based in rural areas; jobs works related to the process of creating, inventing, and manufacturing culturally defined items, make-up, creative art industries, hairstyles, music industries, dance and celebrities, tailoring, woven materials production, agriculture and more. By encouraging contributions from media that showcase these elements. This project is instrumental in addressing the lack of documentation and global recognition of rural works and empowering the rural community to actively contribute to the global knowledge commons. This approach is important for all countries around the world: Africa, Europe, Asia... Every country in the world has rural areas. |
