Abstract:
This panel proposes an in-depth exploration of the Wiki Loves Women initiative and the pervasive gender gap within African contexts. Focusing on the Wiki Loves Women Focus Group Leadership Program and other impactful initiatives, our discussion aims to analyze strategies for advancing gender equity in digital knowledge creation. Through shared experiences and collaborative dialogue, we will examine challenges, successes, and future directions in empowering women contributors across Africa. |
