Wiki Loves Africa is in its 9th iteration. In 9 years you learn alot about organizing and coordinating a continent wide community project with all its diversities and varieties. We want to talk about these learnings, share some insights, major milestones and understand the way forward for Africa's largest photo contest. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region?
WLA is the only photo contest focused on the continent of Africa. Indaba is the perfect platform (at the moment) where organizers, participants and the general open knowledge community can relate on the topic at once. We hope this particular conference will birth new participating communities particularly in the North and South of Africa. | |||
