| Abstract:
Africa has the world's youngest population with about 400 million youth aged 15 to 35. This manifests in African Wikimedia communities with about 80% of the community population in this bracket serving as the backbone of the region in the movement. This era of African Youth is also unique in their experiences of COVID-19, climate crisis, changing cultures, vanishing languages, disinformation etc motivating youth to gather to share knowledge to save now and the future. But how do the African Wikimedia Youth need to gather to contribute with a force of change in the open movement? Join in and Learn! |
