This presentation will showcase the experiences and strategies employed by Wikimedia User Group Kenya to promote female leadership and inclusivity within our organization. It will highlight successful initiatives such as mentorship programs and community engagement activities that have contributed to the increased participation of more Kenyan women in Wikimedia projects. The session will provide practical insights, lessons learned, and actionable recommendations for other African affiliates to foster diversity, gender equity, and inclusivity within their communities. |
