About WikiGap
WikiGap is an initiative to close the gender gap and other diversity gaps on Wikipedia.
This is an initiative by the Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation Inc., the Embassy of Sweden in Nigeria, and African Women in the Media ( AWIM). The Challenge is the Nigerian version organized as part of the global WikiGap campaign.
The WikiGap Nigeria Online Challenge is an attempt to create more Wikipedia contents for Nigerian women. As a major concern on the spread of COVID19 in Nigeria, we will also host an online training for the introduction of Wikipedia to interested Nigerians who are interested in contributing to Wikipedia.
The Challenge takes place from 8th of March to 31st of March 2021.
