About WikiGap
WikiGap is an initiative taken to close the gender gap and other diversity gaps on Wikipedia.
The initiative is made possible by a cooperation between Embassy of Sweden in Nigeria, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) and Wikimedia Nigeria. The Challenge is the Nigerian version organized as part of the global WikiGap campaign.
The WikiGap Nigeria Online Challenge is an attempt to create more Wikipedia contents for Nigerian women. We will also host an in-person and virtual training for the introduction of Wikipedia to interested Nigerians who are interested in contributing to Wikipedia.
The Challenge takes place from 14 March through 31 March 2024.
