Wiki Loves Photographs - How to photograph monuments and food edit

  • How to photo-document monuments and food, so that they are useful to Wikimedia projects and stand a chance to win in the competitions too.

How does it connect with the WCI 2023 theme/focus edit

  • Our country is full of beautiful, diverse, and important monuments. We have a rich history of food too. To highlight them properly on various Wikimedia projects we need to document them carefully. However, lots of images on Wiki Loves Monuments and Food repeat the same views or fail technically. In this lecture, I will discuss the best practices, common mistakes that need to be avoided, and ways to better represent the items. This will help the various Indian community members to document their respective built heritage and food effectively. Together Indian monuments and food will be better represented globally.
