Abstract/description of your session

  • Importance-

As the proposal reviewing committee members we all are wishing to encourage various kinds of proposals.

Survey-We will send out a survey to compile the data of various applications that we have received and do a thematic analysis. Such as GLAM, education, skill building…

Our session would like to focus on the following themes: As a Wikimedian we should take into consideration that we are KNOWLEDGE creators.There is a big difference between information and knowledge. When we authenticate the information with apt references then only we can use that information in the form of KNOWLEDGE. While writing funding proposals we should consider this important point. We should ask questions to ourselves like WHY? WHERE?WHAT? WHO? for WHOM and then HOW? Thinking on this broader line we want to encourage people and future applicants and guide them regarding these WH points.
